Internet/APN setting
Internet/APN setting
Multi-device users, especially those who often travel abroad should learn a bit of how to set up APN as it is very useful when you have internet connection problems. APN or Access Point Name is the network your mobile phone or wireless communication device uses for internet access. As each mobile network operator has differnet access points, APN setting on users' devices are mandatory in order that the devices know to which network operator it should connect.
Some mobile phones and wireless communication devices can connect to internet automatically without APN setting after inserting SIM cards in while others cannot and need to configure APN setting. However, it depends on SIM cards.
All customers purchasing SIM cards from instaSIM will get user guides which provide complete information about SIM cards and APN setting. If you have any questions, please contact us.
